Hey Folks!

Are you guys and gals having a fabulous summer? What have you been up to? Tell me!

I was going to write a journal on how dreary summer has been here but of course the weather changed completely! For the past week it's been extra sunny and days of 30C temperature. Great boost for the gardens though! The cat however was not impressed with the heat and layed on the floor under the ceiling fan for the week.

And now dear Hurricane Bill will be visiting tommorow. Today I must bring in all our potted plants and outdoor furniture. I hope I can secure all the tomato cages and whatnot. I'm worried the garden is going to get pulverized :\

In other summertime news, I got my wisdom teeth and a mystery tooth removed. Day surgery FTW! It went really well but my two bottom wisdom teeth were crazy impacted and they worked hard to get those out. I know that because, man was my lower jaw ever bruised! It looked like I was in a super intense fight, and probably lost hahaha.

I've read some really great books this summer too. I highly recommend all of them.

John Hurt might be in town this September. They are going to be filming some of the new Moby Dick movie here. It would be so cool if I got to see him... or meet him *_* I'm going to go downtown and see if I can spot where they are making some of the boats for the movie and get some pictures. Wouldn't that be cool?

So that's my summer! Gardening, arting, reading, recovering, having fun!

Still need to put the Michael Jackon tribute together too! D:

Words cannot describe how amazing, magnificent and awe-inspiring the movie is. I've never cried so much and the poor kid beside me looked absolutely "OMG stfu lady!"

Even from a techinical standpoint my jaw dropped at the textures. I was very sparkly eyed through the whole thing. I would go see it again in a heartbeat. I'd really like to see it at the Imax though. Oh man that would be nuts! *_*

I got most of my garden planted, just the tomato plants and beans to go. The deer didn't clue in that there was a garden there last year. Now they know for sure since they ate the tulips. So it'll be an adventure to see what else they'll eat! 8D

The hummingbirg mistook me for the feeder the other day. He was not impressed and hovered in front like "WTF!?"

Uh yeah, so that's mostly it! Art stuff I'm working on is a Harry Potter piece for an auction, and a couple projects of mine I call "Roller Derby Girls...from Space!" and "Just Giv'r". Haha silly but should be fun!

Does anyone have Animal Crossing Wild World and want to come visit my town? I'd really like to get Nook's final store "Nookington's".

It's finally feeling like Spring! I hope it's bright and sunny where you live too!

Haha it's been two months since I last made a journal entry 8D Usually I don't have much to write about, unless you want to hear about what the deer family or the pheasant is up too ;3

Spring has really made me feel happy. The daffodils and tulips are growing nicely. When I went out to water them today, I noticed my deer friends had walked through the garden. They surprisingly didn't eat the tulips but smashed one with their hooves real good! I hope it'll recover! Can't stay mad at them though, they are so sweet.

I would love to own a farm one day!

I consider myself a Trekkie.

I just might dress up in uniform for the release of the new Trek movie.

I think sammiches are swell! Especially with homemade fries on the side.

I have a small collection of My Little Ponies.

I'm reading "Don Quixote" and it's pretty amazing!

I'm a total CBC fan girl, especially for Jian Ghomeshi and Stan Carew.

I can't wait to see if the tulips I planted will grow (and then be promptly eaten by the deer ;3)
