Artist's Comments

These are the character concepts I came up with for Mike and Dom.

I signed up to take part in Project Volunteer and was super surprised to have nabbed the first 5 pages! As well as coming up with the design for there two fellas.

The designs came about after just sitting and thinking for a good long while. I had been down to the "big city" here and saw lots of cool fellas that certainly got incorporated. I felt so nervous about designing the characters but really like how the sketches turned out.

I just turned in my pages (I wrote pages 36-40) and looking at this is way cool. It's weird that, even though I hadn't been by here to see these before hand, they are close to what I saw in my head.

Hey, I'm the artist on pages 31 through 35 and I was wondering how old the main character is? My styles different from yours and I don't want to make him look too youthful or old. Comparing him to Dom he looks like he's about 14 or 15. Can you help me out with some info? I want to make my pages look good and flow with everyone else's despite style differences (the character should be noticeable through out).
